Elements and Performance Criteria

  1. Plan to check and report on gas station conditionremotely
  2. Work activities are prioritised and sequenced for the most efficient and effective outcome following consultation with relevant person/s for completion within acceptable timeframes in accordance with workplace procedures
  3. Work health and safety (WHS)/occupational health and safety (OHS) and environmental risk control measures are identified, prioritised and evaluated
  4. Relevant requirements and workplace procedures for the work are communicated to relevant person/s
  5. WHS/OHS, environmental and sustainable energy workplace policies and procedures related to work activities are identified to ensure safe systems of work are followed
  6. Relevant work authorisations and permits are secured, as required, to coordinate the performance of work activities in accordance with job requirements and workplace procedures
  7. Liaison and communication with authorised person/s, authorities, clients and station owner/s are undertaken to resolve gas station condition issues in accordance with workplace procedures
  8. Person/s participating in work activities are fully briefed and respective responsibilities coordinated and authorised, as required, in accordance with workplace procedures
  9. Check and report on gas station conditionremotely
  10. First aid and other related workplace procedures are performed in accordance with job requirements and workplace procedures
  11. Equipment faults are identified through remote checking and testing of operational equipment in accordance with work schedule and job requirements, and relevant personnel despatched to site, as required
  12. Hazard warnings and safety signs are recognised and hazards are identified, assessed and WHS/OHS risks are reported to the authorised person/s for directions in accordance with workplace procedures
  13. Operating conditions of equipment are monitored remotely for temperatures, gas flow and pressures in order to determine performance of equipment and pipeline
  14. Fault-finding and troubleshooting techniques are applied to identify any repairs or maintenance that are required in accordance with job requirements and workplace procedures, and relevant personnel despatched to site, as required
  15. Solutions to non-routine problems are identified and actioned in accordance with job requirements in a manner that minimises risk to personnel and equipment
  16. Ongoing checks of quality of work activities are undertaken in accordance with job requirements and workplace procedures
  17. Complete work and relevant documentation
  18. Incidents and injuries are reported and followed up in accordance with workplace procedures
  19. Relevant work authorisations and permit/s are signed off in accordance with job requirements
  20. Work activities completion records, reports as installed/modified drawing/s, documentation and relevant information is confirmed, processed and the appropriate person/s notified
